Marquette – Dr. James Surrell will be the guest speaker at the State Employee Retirees Association meeting on Wednesday, October 20 at noon at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
Surrell is the director of the digestive health clinic at Marquette General Hospital and is the author of numerous professional publications, as well as the book “Stop Only Sugar.” His presentation will focus on colorectal cancer screening and prevention and dietary weight management. He also will give away a copy of his book.
