Marquette – An introductory class to the practice of Tai Chi Chuan will be offered on Saturday, October 9 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 927 W. Fair Avenue, Marquette.
Included will be instruction in mind/body medicine and review basic movements of Qi Gong, along with demonstrations and practice with the Tai Chi short staff. No experience is necessary.
Cost is $25. Proceeds will benefit the work of the Cedar Tree Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides services and initiates projects in the areas of mental health, religion and the environment. For information, call 228-5494.
