Ishpeming – Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming is conducting a Project Keep Kids Warm winter clothing drive to benefit Ishpeming area children in need. Bags will be dropped off at Ishpeming area homes Wednesday, October 6.
Place new or gently used winter jackets, boots, mittens, scarves and snowpants in the bag and leave it in front of your house for pickup on Saturday morning, October 16. Participating local churches will accept clothing on Sunday, October 10. Clothing may also be dropped off at Wesley United before 1 p.m. Saturday, October 16.
Distribution will take place Saturday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ishpeming Armory. Shuttle service will be available in the morning from the Ishpeming Salvation Army.
