Lansing Mayor and Democratic candidate for Governor Virg Bernero stopped by the Sunny 101.9 studios this morning for a chat about his campaign and it’s key messages. Bernero was in Marquette on a busy campaign swing that culminated with a breakfast meeting hosted by the Economic Club of Marquette County at Northern Michigan University. Bernero discussed several of the key issues facing the state and how his plan offers the best solutions for the state. He also discussed how the Upper Peninsula fits into his vision for the overall economic recovery of the state. He also took a moment to challenge his opponent, Republican Rick Snyder, to a live debate in our studios. Bernero says he would come back any time that Snyder would agree to the challenge.
