Marquette – A Michigan Reads! Author Visit will be held on Wednesday, September 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Young readers and their families will enjoy a visit with Jeffery Schatzer, author of “The Runaway Garden.” Mr. Schatzer has been chosen at the 2010 Michigan Reads! author and is touring the state to encourage families of young children to read together.
The Michigan Reads! author tour is presented by the Library of Michigan and generously sponsored by Target and the Library of Michigan Foundation. There is no admission charge to attend the program.
A book sale and signing opportunity will follow the presentation as well as vegetable themed craft and game activities for the children. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call the library at 228-9510.
