Negaunee – The first confirmed case of influenza in the Upper Peninsula has been reported for the 2008-09 season in Chippewa County.
The Marquette County Health Department would like to remind the public that the Flu Vaccine is still available and it is not too late to make an appointment to receive the flu shot.
Flu vaccinations are available for $25 and appointments may be made by calling 475-7844.
Medicaid/Medicare recipients should bring their card and the health department will bill directly for the vaccine.
