Marquette – A panel discussion titled “Changing Michigan: An Upper Peninsula Perspective” will be held on Friday, September 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University.
Panelists are Steve Adamini, former state representative and Marquette attorney; Doug Bovin, NMU alumnus, former state representative and current Munising city manager; and Doug Roberts, former state treasurer, Department of Management and Budget director and deputy state superintendent of public instruction.
The panelists will address such topics as the role of the U.P. in the future of Michigan, the strengths and knowledge required of the next governor, how best to move forward and grow the state and what should be done about the tax system and reforms.
