Iron Mountain – Ford Airport Day will be held on Saturday, September 19, beginning with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. CST at the airport in Iron Mountain.
Free airplane rides will be offered to children, and airplane and helicopter rides for all others will be offered for a small fee.
Also included in the event will be model airplane flight demos, an antique car display, a World War 1 combat flight simulator for the kids, pedal planes for those too young to fly and more.
Lunch will be available at noon. Door prizes will be given out throughout the day. Free door prizes will be given to the first 400 kids with a parent.
