Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning sponsor “Trolley Among Our Native Trees” on Wednesday, August 18 at 10 a.m. beginning at Mattson Lower Harbor Park near the playground.
A guided tour will be led by Al Saberniak, a consultant for the U.S. Forest Service. He will identify and discuss characteristics of native trees and plants, as the tour proceeds along Presque Isle to Holy Cross and Park Cemeteries.
This event is free for NCLL members, $5 for others. Trolley fare is an additional $1. Registration deadline is Monday, August 16. Call Paula McCormick at 228-5489.
