Houghton – The Copper Country United Way will host the 6th Annual Chili Challenge on Tuesday, September 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at MTU's Memorial Union Ballroom in Houghton.
Many area eateries will provide the soup and the chili and compete for the Peoples Choice Award.
Local football teams will compete in a chili eating contest and CCUW agencies will be on hand with information on the United Way programs.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
