Marquette – The International Mountain Bicycling Association’s (IMBA) Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in Marquette Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22 to celebrate first-class trails and conduct workshops on proper trailbuilding techniques. Everyone is invited to attend the weekend’s events.
A TTC Trailbuilding Classroom Session will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Citizen’s Forum Room at Lakeview Arena.
Trailbuilding will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with participants meeting at Shiras Park. A Group Ride will also be held on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. beginning at the South Trail Trailhead on M553. A reception will close the day on Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Presque Isle Pavilion.
A Group Ride will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning at the Jasper Ridge Brewery in Ishpeming.
