Marquette – The Peter White Public Library’s Make a Splash Summer Reading amd Listening Program will offer “Where Does the Water Come From?” Tours of Marquette’s water filtration plant on Wednesday, July 7 at 4 and 6 p.m.
The plant is at the corner of Lakeshore Boulevard and East Ridge Street. Tours are open to age 9 and older.
The water filtration plant is a modern, state-of-the-art facility producing an average of 3 million gallons of pure water a day.
