Calendar – Education – Summer College For Kids – July 26-30

Marquette – The Seaborg Mathematics and Science Center at Northern Michigan University is offering summer college courses for elementary and middle school students. Session times are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.

July 26 through 30 Morning Session will be Rain Forests for grades K to 2 and Motion and Design with K’Nex for grades 3 to 5.

Afternoon Sessions are Kitchen Chemistry for grades K to 2, Science Experiments with Toys for grades 3 to 5, and Advanced Turtles and Toads for grades 6 to 8.

For updated availability, information or to register, call 227-2002 or visit www.nmu.edu/summer. Children entering kindergarten in the fall may participate in the K-2 programs. Most sessions cost $60; those with daily field trips cost $70.
