Marquette – The Peter White Public Library is sponsoring “Water Your Mind … READ!” a summer reading program for adults, through August 14.
Readers with a valid PWPL card are eligible to enter drawings to win prizes of gift certificates sponsored by 35 area businesses and the library. One entry slip is earned at each book checkout session at the circulation desk. New prizes will be offered every two weeks.
The grand prize is a sunset sail for two aboard the Coaster II, operated by Superior Odyssey Tours and Captain Niko Economides. The Coaster II, a wooden hulled, gaff-rigged schooner with topsails, built in 1933. Three winners and their friends will set sail on the evening cruise on Aug. 26 while enjoying refreshments catered by Babycakes.
