Calendar – Fun – Marquette Scandinavian Midsummer Festival – June 19

Marquette – The Marquette Scandinavian Midsummer Festival will be held on Saturday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.

The opening ceremony will include raising of the flags, anthems, and an address from the mayor. Throughout the day there will be music, dancing, food, a Scandinavian Market, and various cultural presentations. The event will close with a ceremony and a bonfire, beginning at 10 p.m.

Admission is free.
