Michigamme – The eighth annual car show and Log Cabin Days will take place on Sunday, June 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Michigamme Museum 110 Main Street, Michigamme.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Featured this year will be a 1917 steam tractor demonstrated by Paul Wilson Jr. of Skandia. Also featured will be Michigamme’s 1900 LaFrance steam fire engine, a display by the Superior A’s Model A club and many other vintage cars.
Tours of the Dompierre house will begin at noon. This restored log house from the 1800s is a valuable part of Michigamme history.
Food and other items will available on site, and a community-wide rummage sale will be held in the community building. For more information call 323-6301.
