Marquette – An Invasive Plant Species class will be offered on Saturday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Marquette Commons.
Learn about invasive plant species that can out compete other plants and take over an area, can often be brought into greenhouses, or brought home on hiking boots. Learn to identify some aggressive plants that are threatening Michigan's biodiversity and what to do about them.
The class is free to Marquette Food Co-op members and a $3 donation is suggested for all others.
