Munising – The 6th Annual “Tour da Woods” Mountain Bike Challenge will be held on Saturday, September 12 with two races to chose from.
“Hiawatha's Revenge” is a 30 mile course that starts at the Alger County fairgrounds in Chatham and finishes at the Munising Football Stadium. Packet pick-up is from 7 to 9 a.m. with the race beginning at 9:30 a.m.
“Red Deer Run” is a 15 mile course that starts at the Valley Spur Ski and Mountain Bike Trail Head, 5 miles south of Munising on M-94 and ends at the Munising Football Stadium. Packet pick-up is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. with the race beginning at 9 a.m.
Awards will be given at 3:30 p.m. in Bayshore Park.
Registration deadline is September 10.
