Munising – The Central Upper Peninsula Chapter of the Sierra Club will ski the Valley Spur trails in the Hiawatha National Forest on Saturday, January 17.
The group will meet at 10 a.m. at the warming hut and ski for a couple of hours, have a potluck lunch at the hut, then ski in the afternoon.
Ski trails range from easy to challenging. Potluck participants should bring a dish to pass.
Valley Spur trails are on M-94, six miles southwest of Munising, or about six miles from Chatham if coming from Marquette. RSVP to John Rebers at 228-3617 or john.rebers@michigan.sierraclub.org.
