Deerton – The AuTrain-Onota Public School will present its annual Mother’s Day celebration on Friday, May 7 at 12:30 p.m. in the school gym.
Vicki Ballas of the MSU Extension Office in Munising will offer a food safety parent education program, followed by a fresh fruit and vegetable taste testing.
Fruit smoothies will be made and served by kindergarten and first-grade students as part of the SPLASH (Shaping Positive Lifestyles and Attitudes through School Health) grant program.
Students will present individual class readings and songs for mothers, and a performance of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” For more information, call 343-6632.
