Escanaba – Beth Mercado, Ph.D., author and international laughter instructor, will lead a World Laughter Day Funshop on Sunday, May 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 S. Lincoln Road, Escanaba.
The all-ages event will include exercises to promote laughter, time for dancing and, if time permits, a session on removing blocks to joy. Prizes will be awarded for the funniest or most outrageous attire. A meal will be served at the conclusion of the event.
