Laurium – The On the Spot Blues Band will headline a fund-raiser in Laurium Saturday, January 17 to raise money for their trip to a blues competition in Memphis, Tennessee.
The show, to be held at the Irish Times in Laurium, will run from 4 p.m. to midnight. Local musicians are welcome for an open mic atmosphere.
Prizes will be raffled off during the event.
The band was tapped to play at the Memphis International Blues Competition's Youth Showcase, which brings together young blues bands from around the country.
