ISHPEMING SCHOOLS SEEK FUNDING

Ishpeming Public School District Board of Education Vice-President Dave Leverton joined us recently to update us on the $11.2-million dollar bond issue being put on the ballot before voters in the district on May4th. Leverton outlined plans for funds, if they are approved by voters, and how the money would benefit the school district. He also outlined efforts by the board to educate residents in the district by holding public informational meetings and spreading the word about the issue in the local media.
