Marquette – The Marquette County Humane Society is now accepting photos for its 2011 Pet Photo Calendar. Deadline for photo submissions is April 30.
Photos will be featured throughout the calendar, with the first place winner appearing on the cover and the twelve runners-up receiving a monthly spot.
Each photo must be accompanied by an entry form and a $10 entry fee. Voting by the public will be held from May 15 to July 11, with each bid costing 25 cents.
Entry forms, complete rules and further information are available at www.upaws.org, the Marquette County Humane Society, area veterinarian clinics, and at the Westwood Mall kiosk. Mail completed forms, photos or CDs to Marquette County Humane Society, PO Box 842, Marquette MI 49855.
