Republic – A benefit dinner for Sherry Atkins will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Republic-Michigamme School in South Republic.
In addition to the dinner, there will be entertainment, raffles and a silent auction. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be matching funds. Sherry has leukemia and has many hospital bills and travel expenses for a bone marrow transplant.
The cost for the meal is $6 for adults, $5 for ages 5 to 12, $2 for ages 2 to 5, and free for those under 2.
