Marquette – The Great Lakes Rodeo annual kick off party will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 6 p.m. at Marquette Mountain.
Featured will be a rib dinner, with live music by Bordertown. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $7 for ages 6-13.
The rodeo is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 19-20 at the Marquette County Fairgrounds in Sands Township. Performances begin at 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. There are still openings in the amateur events, dream ride barrels, and bulls and mutton busting.
Advance tickets will go on sale May 1 at the Lake Superior Community Partnership. Advance tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for age 6 and older. Tickets will cost $2 more at the gate.
