Marquette – The Marquette General Cancer Center will offer free breast cancer screenings on Tuesday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Specialty Clinic on the sixth floor of the Robert C. Neldberg building at Marquette General Hospital.
Women will be seen in 30-minute appointments by an oncology nurse practitioner or breast care coordinator. A breast health history will be taken and personalized breast self-exam instruction will be offered. The interactive Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool (Gail model) will be used to estimate a woman’s risk of developing invasive breast cancer.
