Munising – Polka Fest '09 will be held on Sunday, August 23 beginning with a Polka Mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Munising.
Ethnic food will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with entertainment and dancing in Lamothe Hall from noon to 4 p.m. with music by the Polka Towners and “Pan” Frank and Zosia.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under.
Be Polish for a day at this family event, sponsored by the Polish American Society of Northern Michigan.
