Calendar – Music – The Lion, the Slave and the Rodent – April 8

Marquette – “The Lion, the Slave and the Rodent,” a one act chamber opera, will be presented on Thursday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University.

NMU’s music department is dedicating its April performances to matron of the arts Phyllis Reynolds, who passed away in November. She and her family contributed a gift to NMU’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign that helped to make a new campus performance venue a reality for Marquette-area music lovers. Reynolds Recital Hall is now approaching its fifth anniversary.

This performance is free of charge.
