Harvey – Parents and caregivers are invited to attend a workshop on “Principles of Positive Discipline” by Dr. Becky Bailey, presented by Barbie Dupras on Sunday, April 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 333 Riverside Road in Harvey.
This program will help parents and caregivers give effective command to children so they are more likely to do what you say, guide children away from tattling and into self-competentproblem solving, and gain a deeper understanding of children in order to facilitate their self-esteem and yours.
The program is free and will include babysitting, a meal, and program materials. Call 249-3122 to register by April 11.
