Ishpeming – Volunteers from Marquette County area churches and religious communities who will be recruiting participants for the 2009 CROP Hunger Walk will meet on Wednesday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 414 E. Ridge Street in Ishpeming.
Recruiters will receive materials, information and instructions about the Sunday, October 11 CROP Hunger Walk.
CROP Hunger Walks are ecumenical, interfaith community events that help support worldwide programs to provide sustainable self-help development, disaster relief and refugee assistance around the world.
