Marquette – The Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve will sponsor a scenic backcountry ski into the McCormick Wilderness, along with a gourmet hot lunch and drink on Saturday, March 6. Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at the Peter White Public Library and car pool to the south entrance of the wilderness.
Plan for an easy to medium difficulty ski, about five miles round trip, with a stop at a heated winter camp where lunch will be provided.
