Kid’s Day at the Animal Shelter
Escanaba – Kids Day at the Shelter will be held on Saturday, January 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Training Center next to the Delta County Animal Shelter in Escanaba.
The event is for ages 5 and up. Make items for the dogs and cats at the animal shelter. Then local veterinarian Dr. Mackie will discuss the proper care of pocket pets. Enjoy a presentation by Delta County K9 unit, Deputy Lewis and K9 Benny. Take a tour of the animal shelter.
There is no cost, just a donation for the shelter would be appreciated. Registration is required. Contact Penny at 789-3563.
