Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host its monthly community jam session on Sunday, January 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
This is an informal gathering for people interested in playing or singing with others who enjoy traditional acoustic music.
Participants may bring a guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass or just sing along to old time folk music tunes by Peter, Paul and Mary, the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and others. For more information, call 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info.
