Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Cheer team will sponsor a cheerleading clinic for girls in kindergarten through eighth grade on Saturday, January 16 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the PEIF building at NMU.
Clinic participants will have the option to cheer for the first half of NMU women’s basketball game immediately after the clinic.
Skills to be taught include cheers, dances, stunts, tumbling skills and jumps. Cost is $20. To request a registration form call 227-2519, or register at Office 126 of the PEIF building. For information, call 485-4763.
