Houghton – Squonk Opera will be offered on Friday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts in Houghton.
This site-specific opera is about the one subject that unifies the audience wherever they perform – the host town itself. Squonk has created a show structure that is modified using the community as the source.
This presentation is supported by the Performing Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, General Mills Foundation, and Land O’Lakes Foundation.
Tickets are $20 to $25 for the general public and $15 to $20 for MTU students with i.d.
