Marquette – The Marquette Turkey Trot 5K and 10K run / walk will take place Thursday, November 26, at 9 a.m., rain, snow, or shine. Registration will be from 8 to 8:40 a.m. at Marquette Senior High School Canopy Entrance / MSHS Room 101, 1203 W. Fair Avenue.
The entry fee is $10 per person (proceeds benefit the MSHS Orchestra); or add $10 for a total of $20 per person to include a T-shirt (shirt sales benefit MSHS’s Business Professionals of America).
The 1st overall male and female in the 5K and 10K will receive a trophy; and, new this year, Turkey Trot Finisher Ribbons will be awarded to the first 200 finishers. Leashed dogs are welcome on the course, and a trophy will be presented at the finish line to the fastest overall dog in the 5K and also the 10K.
Participants may drop off, if they wish, items for the TV6 Canathon canned food drive.
