The defending league champions continue their winning streak with a 9-2 victory over Classic Auto on May 28, 2008 in Marquette, Michigan. This makes four in a row for the Cadets. Coach Randy Larson was impressed with the hitting, base running and solid defense that his team put forth in their victory. Coach Randy Larson had this to say about his teams win: “This was a real tight game until the 5th inning when PC broke it open. PC scored first in the top of the 3rd when Spencer Larson reached first on an error, stole 2nd and then scored on a base hit by John English. PC scored one more in the 6th and then 5 in the seventh to finish off Classic 9-2. Leading the way offensively for the Cadets were English who went 3-3, scored once and had 3 RBIs. Alex Baker added two hits, while Larson, Baker and Garrett Pentecost each scored twice. Patrick Lynch and Jesse Dupras each scored once. Both teams had very good pitching throughout. Mike Mullett went 95 pitches for Classic and was relieved by Eric Kostreva. Pitching for PC were Austin Riipi, Trevor Havican, Theo Sanyal and Lynch. Sanyal gets the win and Lynch gets the save.” More – External Link
