Ishpeming – Four Ishpeming Lutheran Churches will be participating in an outdoor worship service on Sunday July 12 at 10:30 a.m. with a picnic to follow at Al Quaal Recreation Area.
The churches include Bethel Lutheran, Trinity Lutheran, Faith Lutheran, and Bethany Lutheran.
The menu for the picnic includes sloppy joe, hot dogs, salads, vegetable trays, fruit, and beverages. There is no charge for the picnic meal but there will be a free will offering taken during the worship service.
Congregational members wanting to fulfill their pledge to their home church may use their own churches offering envelopes. Any non-designated donations will be considered part of the free will offering that will go to Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp.
In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church on Mather Avenue.
