Despite playing in another cold and rainy game, the Police Cadets extended their winning streak to six games by defeating Taco Bell by a score of 16-6 in Marquette on Friday, June 27, 2008.
Game Summary by Coach Randy Larson:
Pat Lynch and Garrett Pentecost each scored four times in a come from behind victory for the Police Cadets in the rubber match for the season against Taco Bell as PC won 16-6 in a time shortened game. Austin Riipi also scored 3, Cameron Fries 2, and Brandon Jarvinen, Drew Van Drese and Spencer Larson each added one. Riipi had 5 RBIs and Pentecost 4. Taco Bell had a 5-2 lead after three innings when PC broke open the run machine in the fourth plating 4 and another 6 in the 5th and closed the door with 4 in the 6th.
