The Marquette Area Blues Society held its 5th Annual Marquette Area Blues Festival at the Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette, Michigan on Saturday and Sunday, August 30th and 31st.
The Flat Broke Blues Band with the Million Dollar Horns performed for the fifth straight year as front man, lead guitarist and vocalist, Walt Lindala, strummed and picked his heart out. Walt is also a member of the Marquette Area Blues Society and an avid volunteer of the yearly Blues Festival. He also serves on the groups Board of Trustees.
Other members of the band are: Lead vocalist and harmonica player – Lorrie Hayes, bassist and vocalist – Mark Johnson, guitarist and vocalist – Mike Letts and drummer – Jim Cohen.
