Marquette – Frida Waara, the second speaker in the Building a Global Vision Through the Eyes of Our Community educational series, will give her presentation on Wednesday, January 14 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., 2 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium.
Waara will discuss her experiences in the extreme cold of the North Pole.
Funded by a grant from the MAPS Education Foundation, this social studies speaker series invites Marquette residents to share their global travels and adventures with MAPS students and community members.
