Liz Boyd, Spokesperson for Governor Granholm – Update on DNR-DEQ Merger.

GRANHOLMGovernor Jennifer Granholm has issued an executive order abolishing the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and calling for the creation of a new agency called the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Here is an interview conducted today with Governor Granholms press spokesperson Liz Boyd with more information about the DNRE as well as what the future holds for outdoor enthusiasts and others affected by this announcement.
