The Michigan State University Upper Peninsula Experiment Station will be hosting a summer field day at their Chatham Location on July 26th. The field day will include updates on current agricultural research involving switch grass, wheat, cow feed, and more. Don Koivisto, director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture will be the keynote speaker for the event. It is open to the public and registration will begin at 10:15 AM that Saturday morning. Paul Naasz, Upper Peninsula Experiment Station Manager, comments on the outing.
