The Marquette Pirate Festival will begin on August 8th with events that include a pirate attack, art exhibition, carnival, dance, and the Tall Ship Madeline will be sailing in to the lower harbor fir tours as well. Carrie Fries, director of the Marquette Maritime Museum, comments.
