In February, Governor Granholm appointed a 19 member task force to analyze transportation issues in Michigan. On Monday, the Highway, Road, and Bridge subcommittee released a report titled “Michigan's Roads in Crisis.” The report identifies the need for almost double our current road budget. The state is also in jeopardy of losing $750 Million in federal money if it isn't able to match the amount for our current road budget.
