Kids Read Winter Reading: STICK with Reading!
February 2-28, 2026. Peter White Public Library Youth Services. STICK with Reading registration, the winter reading program for youth babies – age 14, will remain open online throughout February. It’s not too late to register and get the kids reading! Kids will read to earn awesome stickers this winter, with tiered levels of progressively even more awesome stickers the more they read! Register online, then stop by the Youth Services Desk to pick up your reading sheets. No admission charge. Teens Read: Winter Reading!
February 1-28, 2026. Teens can fill out reading logs for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards. Registration for Teens Read: Winter Reading will open at 9 am on our website and will remain open until February 22, 2025. All logs must be turned in by February 28, for entry into the gift cards. For students in grades 6-12. Registration is required; no admission charge. The Wallens in Concert
Tuesday, February 3, 2026. 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Peter White Public Library Community Room. Adults, Seniors, Family Friendly. Join local favorites Brian and Molly Wallen for an evening of close-knit harmonies, storytelling, and inspiration. Books & Banter Book Group
Wednesday, February 4, 2026. 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Peter White Public Library Peter White Conference Room. This Book Group welcomes readers interested in a variety of contemporary fiction on the first Wednesday of the month at 10 AM. Book discussions will be led by Reference Desk staff. Art with Ella
Saturdays, February (7, 21), 2026. 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Great Room. Join NMU Art Education major Ella and create art! Kids of all ages are welcome – the techniques used will be adaptable for kids of all ages and abilities. All supplies provided, drop-in program. Special Countdown to Valentine’s Day project on Saturday Feb. 7. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult in the program with them. No admission charge.
