Marquette Roller Derby will host their first tournament, titled “Marquette Mash-Up: Skates, Pines, and Shorelines”, this Saturday, August 23, at Lakeview Arena, featuring teams from across Michigan in a day of competitive roller derby!
The Mash-Up begins at 2:00 PM and includes four scheduled bouts, including a WFTDA-sanctioned match, A and B-team games, and a mixed-team exhibition. Doors open at 1pm.
Schedule of Events:
- 2:00 PM – Marquette vs. Lansing A, a WFTDA-sanctioned bout
- 3:45 PM – Grand Raggidy B vs. Lansing B
- 5:30 PM – Blackrocks vs. Yooperlites Mixer with skaters from various teams
- 7:00 PM – Marquette vs. Grand Raggidy
The event will also feature a beer garden, local food vendor, and merchandise for sale.
Admission:
- $15 All-Day Pass (available at the door)
- Free admission for children 12 and under
