Little Free Library installed in the Playground for All

The City of Marquette has partnered with the Marquette Playgrounds For All (MPFA) and Northern Michigan University Construction Management program, to construct and install an accessible “Little Free Library” at the Kids Cove Playground in Elwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park. The lil’ library – the population of which has grown to over 200,000 the world over – offers an opportunity for the public to give or take a book to promote literacy, community and storytelling. Please join the City, MPFA and NMU Construction management for the official unveiling of the library at Mattson Park on April 17, 2025, at 6:30 p.m!
