Join the City of Marquette and the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 4th, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Marquette Commons for Bright Beginnings, a joyful celebration to welcome the new year.
Discover: Oscillation, an interactive public artwork that responds to your movements with colors and sounds. On display through January 5th.
Warm Up: Enjoy hot cocoa around community fire pits!
Celebrate: Meet glowing surprise guests and share your hopes of the New Year.
Experience: A spectacular public art performance by the Lucid Fyre Bellators, from 6:30pm to 7:00pm.
Glowsticks will be provided by UPCM, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own glow gear to help light up the night! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors– illuminate the way to a bright and joyful new year!
